Get Up and Walk You are Healed!

Get Up and. This promise would come to me repeatedly during a season of struggle while in my process of seeking my healing. The way I understood it is that God is faithful to those who hunger and thirst for Him. The book of Matthew 5:6 says “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled.” Many of us say we believe, we have faith yet we don’t go beyond our comfort zone seeking more of Him. Are you really hungry? Do you want more of God in your life? Do you need Him in your process of healing? Let me tell you He is Faithfull and He will show up!

Do you remember this passage in the bible where this woman begged Jesus for her daughter’s healing and deliverance? She begged and Jesus rejected her and said that His chosen people needed to eat first “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” Yet, this woman’s faith perseveres, hungry for Jesus’ healing, and she replied to Him, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.” Jesus marveled before her unshakable faith and so He replied. “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.” So her daughter was HEALED!

I used to believe I didn’t deserve the compassion of God because I thought I had to earn it. I knew I had failed Him many times but it wasn’t until I became a Christian that I learned His heart for you and me. Finally, I understood!! Although we don’t deserve it, we don’t need to earn it because it is a beautiful GIFT and with it comes forgiveness, salvation, and healing. When Jesus died for you and me he paid the price for our salvation and “HEALING” for us to access it. Are we genuinely seeking? Do you hunger for more?

Prayer Declaration

Jesus forgive me for my unbelief and my lack to trust you with my complete healing. I pray for supernatural unshakable faith to fill me with courage and power to seek you and hunger more for you. I know you reign over my circumstances and you want me healed. I trust you with my healing and I pray that as I continue with this process I will have my eyes solely fixed on you, my healer, my faithful redeemer, my counselor, my deliverer, my way maker, and my promise keeper. Amen!
